it's an ok remote. but what do you expect is a rip off of 8bitdos ultimate controller with none of the premium feeling. it is pretty janky and my trigger was sticking out the box. dongle also didn't work for me
I'm used to xbox controllers so going to this with the thin grip was definitely odd for me. The face buttons, dpad and sticks all feel excellent, and with the dongle or plugged in directly, there's virtually zero input delay. It's the bumpers I have an issue with, they're serviceable but incredibly mushy and squeaky to press. Triggers are far better, but the travel length the trigger goes is fairly short, so even though it is analog, precision is a bit more tricky. It's fine if you're playing an fps or something where hair triggers are preferred though.
Lastly I'll talk about RGB. It's not really necessary, but it does work, looks decent and does remember your last saved setting so you won't have to mess with it every time it turns off and on.
All in all, I'd give it a 7.5 out of 10. Anbernic gets a lot right with this in my opinion, but the thinner/hollow feeling grips, mushy bumpers and short travel triggers hold it back from a higher score.
